Nagi El Husseini is a design specialist and founder of Hyrax. He is an internationally renowned interior architect and planner, has a deep understanding of the hospitality and real estate sectors and their changing markets, society and culture. He is passionate to create unique and timeless design which appropriately responds to its location and culture and meets the requirements of change and lifestyle evolution.
Nagi has designed award-winning, successful projects for many of the leading hoteliers and developers in the Middle East, and his experience in Europe, Africa and Asia includes high-rise, mixed commercial, retail, healthcare, workplace, as well as master planning, rural planning and development. He is passionate about all design aspects enhancing users experience and connection to spaces, while ensuring his clients success.
Nagi has guided Hyrax’ principles in understanding the connections between people and their places.
Because purposeful spaces can only be delivered through a deep social and cultural understanding of the communities they are designed for, it is fundamental for his design style to be meaningful and reflect the true values of these communities, and communities he works for.
