Athens, Greece · Residential
Imittou 79.
A residential project developed as one architectural and interior experience, connecting spatial planning, material atmosphere, daylight and everyday living.
Project Study
Architecture and interior as one.
Imittou 79 began with an existing Athens building whose potential had been obscured by years of fragmented use. The project reactivated the ground floor, renewed the existing façades and reworked the building from the inside out, including a major reorganisation of the core, lifts and stairs, so circulation and daily life could be reconsidered as one continuous experience.
Across the upper levels, three floors and the penthouse were transformed as part of the same journey, culminating in an expanded rooftop garden above one of Athens’ busiest urban corridors. Bougainvillea, layered planting and shaded structures soften the intensity of the city below, turning the roof into a more intimate, almost hidden landscape and giving the revived building a final moment of release.
